Founded in 1980, ERSM is a private French-language school based on the Waldorf pedagogy, located in the heart of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce district in Montreal. It welcomes students from early childhood to the first cycle of secondary school. While adhering to the standards of the Quebec Ministry of Education, ERSM offers an alternative to the standard education system. Here, every child is welcomed as they are. With a deep awareness of their need to move, experiment, touch, and create, the learning process unfolds naturally in daily life. By nurturing the body, heart, and soul of each child, we help foster self-esteem, well-being, curiosity, willpower, and a love of learning. Respecting the child's individual rhythm and stages of development is at the core of our program, integrating academic experiences with nature and supporting them through the arts.
