Externat Saint-Coeur de Marie

Externat Saint-Coeur de Marie, founded in 1964 by the Sœurs Servantes du Saint-Coeur de Marie, private education institution. Located in Quebec City, (Beauport area), the Externat has for many years, enjoyed a reputation of excellence that continues to this day, thanks to the commitment of it's qualified, enthousiastic and dedicated employees. It provides for a varied programming that allows student development through the following four disciplines: - The Arts: specialists provide instruction in music and the visual arts; - Communication: an enriched French language program for all students and an enriched English program for students from grades 3 to 6; - Sports: outdoor program, a Winter festival, an Olympiad’s activity, running club, swimming lessons, plus a multitude of extracurricular activities; and - Science and Technologies: robotics and a techno-pedagogical program offered in the third cycle. The Externat offers several services which are greatly appreciated by parents: a cafeteria, student services (speech therapist and remedial teacher), remedial study, supervised study, extracurricular activities, (robotics, piano, swimming, football, cheerleading, soccer and others), animated pedagogical days, etc. Further to these many, both educational and extracurricular activities, we provide the uniqueness of aquatic activities in our newly renovated indoor pool! Our main objectives: our relationship with our students, excellence in studies and helping the students to become a better version of themselves through respect, tolerance, commitment, pride and passion.
